We keep busy throughout the year—wrangling programs, kids, and critters—and cannot respond to drop-in visitors. No matter how you come visiting—please schedule it with us first!

• Come join us for a work party weekend—held monthly in the spring and fall, work parties are a great way to get to know the Ekone community. Meaningful work, excellent company, delicious food, evening tea and games, tired muscles, and the satisfaction of a job well done are a winning combination, and we have it down to a fine science. 

 

• Attend a Retreat or Program at the Ranch—Ekone is a wonderful location for programs such as field trips or retreats, with excellent facilities, programming and staff to make a class adventure the learning opportunity of a lifetime, or an adult retreat just the right balance of relaxing and fulfilling.

• Come to the Barbed Wire Ball—Our annual fundraiser, the Barbed Wire Ball, is an extravaganza of art, a live auction full of Ekone experiences and other priceless things, live music, food, and Ekone activities—mark your calendar for Saturday September 24, 2022!

 

• Schedule a cemetery tour—get to know more about natural burial at White Eagle Memorial Preserve, our conservation burial ground.
